Gregg Samuel
Tuba
Gregg Samuel, a seasoned mechanic of over 18 years, is a man of many talents and rhythms. His journey into the world of tuba began in elementary school and continued through to the University of Lethbridge, having studied with Ken Rogers. Since then, Gregg's tuba has echoed through a variety of ensembles, showcasing his musical versatility. From the grandeur of the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra to the spirited notes of the Polkaholix, Gregg's tuba knows no boundaries. He's added bass trombone and percussion to his repertoire with the Lethbridge Community Brass Choir and Lethbridge Community Silver Band, expanding his sonic palette. His musical ventures extend to the Symphony of the Kootenays, Lethbridge Community Gold Band, Southern Winds, and the Medicine Hat Concert Band Society. But come daylight, Gregg is the grease-under-the-fingernails mechanic, the go-to guy for car troubles and engine intricacies. Yet, when the wrenches are set aside, he finds solace in the sizzle of BBQs and the tranquility of his summer retreat in Whisper Valley, sharing these moments with his partner, Dawn, and fur child, Bella. Gregg Samuel, a tuba maestro, a bass trombone and percussion enthusiast, and a mechanic by day, weaves a symphony of life that resonates with passion, dedication, and the simple joys of BBQs in Whisper Valley.
